On Sunday, May 6th, 2018, at the Sheffield Students' Union, Western Bank and Weston Park in Sheffield, we will celebrate the Polish Heritage Day for the second consecutive year. This is a perfect opportunity to celebrate our shared history and culture. There will be many attractions, both for adults and children. And it’s all free!
You will be able to taste some Polish delicacies, homemade cakes, see a number of exhibitions and dance some traditional Polish folk dances with Polish scouts. This year Poland '39 re-enactement group will come to Sheffield to spend the day with us and show us different artifacts related with Polish troops fighting during WWII. You will also be able learn more about Polish customs, traditions, culture and history. There will be many attractions for children, everyone will surely find something for themselves.
